About Us

Dot and David Newton operate Heytesbury Ridge as a boutique winery and cellar door set amongst 10 acres of vines.
The panoramic rural views from the terrace stretch all the way to the Otway Ranges. At our Cellar Door, you can enjoy complimentary tastings of our Newtons Ridge range of estate grown and made wines. These wines are also available for purchase. Check our Cellar Door page for current wine list.

The grapes are basket pressed and the wine is made on site. The working winery can be seen from the tasting area and there are picnic facilities on the patio. 
Our grapes are unirrigated and are all handpicked by local community groups. Involving the community in this way has been a great benefit to us and provides a valuable source of income to the groups.

Newtons Ridge has a cellar door facility and offers friendly, informative wine tastings.
